Deen Academy’s seminar on Conflict Management is a unique opportunity to understand important principles and develop strategies for dealing with differences and disagreements.
About the Seminar
The Conflict Management seminar focuses on two areas:
– Dealing with diversity and pluralism
– Dealing with scholarly differences
This seminar is part of the Leadership Skills Development program which is distinguished by its utilization of the rich Prophetic model. Two real-life case studies will be reviewed and compared to contemporary models of conflict resolution.

This seminar is suitable for individuals interested in conflict management, particularly current and aspiring leaders. If you are a professional, social worker, involved in faith-based projects or a student, this seminar will help you understand the principles of dealing with differences and give you a framework for further development.

Instructor:
Dr Zachariah Matthews, Principle Instructor, Deen Academy. He has studied the Quran majoring in memorization from a young age and undertook studies in the Islamic Sciences from various institutes in South Africa, the US and Australia. His teaching and mentoring experience is extensive and includes lecturing part-time for seven years at the University of Sydney. Dr Matthews has more than twenty years experience leading various organizations and companies both in the public and private sectors.

Cancellation and Refund Policy: Registration cancellations received in writing by email to info@deenacademy.net.au by 2 October 2012 will be accepted. Registration fees will be refunded less a $5 administrative fee. Cancellations received after this date cannot be accepted and will not be refunded. However it is acceptable to transfer your registration to another person. The full name and details (email address and contact number) of the person that will replace you must be advised in writing by email. No refunds will be made for non-attendance to the Seminar.
