QUR’AN AND ARABIC
ISRA is offering Arabic classes to cater for different levels. Whether you want to learn how to read the Qur’an in Arabic or you would like to understand Arabic, there is a course for you. Whichever step you take, it will bring you that much closer to reading and understanding the Qur’an.
| Wednesday 7 NovemberBeginners Qur’an ReadingThis course is for students with no language skills in Arabic or the Qur’an. It is designed to teach students how to articulate the Alphabet letters and the proper Qur’anic recitation rules. It will also cover writing practice of Qur’an verses and Qur’an vocabulary, together with basic speaking in Arabic and basic Qur’an Arabic vocabulary.
Tuesday 6 November Introduction to Arabic Grammar This course introduces Arabic Grammar while building on the basic knowledge of Arabic reading and Qur’an recitation. Rules of Grammar including sarf (morphology) and forms are addressed. Writing, reading, speaking and comprehension practice is included to build further proficiency in Arabic language. Introduction to Arabic and Tajweed This course is designed for students with basic reading skills in Arabic. It presents a comprehensive introduction to the Tajweed rules. It will also cover writing practice of Qur’an verses and Qur’an vocabulary, together with basic speaking in Arabic and basic Qur’an Arabic vocabulary. Thursday 8 November Intermediate Arabic Grammar This course introduces further Arabic grammatical rules in verb forms and nouns as well as further practice in constructing words and sentences with verbs. Writing, reading, speaking and comprehension practice is included to build further proficiency in Arabic language.
