Organizer: University of Technology Sydney Muslim Society
Salamu A’alikum brothers and sisters,
Once again, UTS Muslim society would like to invite you to its SECOND Islamic awareness week, commencing on the 8th of October 2012. This week will be different, interesting and full of exciting events! IAW has always aimed high, it has always tried to compact so much about Islam in 5 days, however, we have forgotten the foundations of Islam we have forgotten where the seeds of Islam nurtured and why they have grown immensely.
This week will take us back to the fundamentals of Islam. What is Islam? Who are the Muslims? What do we do as Muslims? Islamic Awareness Week consists of three fundamental talks where Muslims and non-Muslims are welcome to come along and learn about the nurturing seeds of life, the religion that within itself has the best guide for a happy, healthy life.
The topics are titled ‘live and let live’, which deals with how you can live a happy life within the realm of Islam, and deal and live with others in harmony. ‘Back to Fitra’ is dealing with the initial stages of our lives and how we were all once unknown creatures under the kingdom of Allah. The last topic titled ‘ 1433 years ago’ explores the miracles of the Quran which were discovered 1433 years ago while some of them are just now proven to be correct in the eye of science and advance technology.
Please come along and bring your non-Muslim friends to explore the fundamentals of What is called a way of living; ISLAM.
