A generous shop boss has set up a community fridge filled with free food for people in need.
He has stocked the chiller at his shop in the town’s Moss Street with sandwiches, wraps and other goods.
Rekz said: “I think it was a Jamie Oliver idea to encourage retailers to set up community fridges.
“I wanted to do something similar in Paisley to show businesses can give something back to their community. I know just how hard it is for folk out.”
Rekz is running the project as a trial and hopes others will help with donations.
He added: “ Food banks do a fantastic job and the community fridge wants to add to that. It is here for everyone.”
