A Night Surfing The Web
Due to the many threats the use of the internet and social media poses to youth, parents and the community Katalyst along with Kompass and the LMA are holding a night to inform youth and parents about these potential threats and ways to deal with them. The night will focus on security issues relating to the web, Islamic guidelines on using the internet and the etiquettes of using social media i.e. Facebook.
The night will be presented by a specialist & Sheikes that have a strong background in Internet Security and Networks. They will provide practical advice and valuable insights on things to watch out for. Also, you will get a chance to ask questions to the panel of speakers.
