The UK Sunni Movement committee has proposed a campaign to stop the destruction of Islamic heritage and sites. This campaign will In’sha Allah:
– Refute the Salafi destruction of graves. On August 26th 2012 they demolished the grave of Shaykh Ahmad Zarruq (RadiAllahu Anhu) in Libya and dumped his blessed body.
– Raise awareness about the attacks happening today. Programs will be held by the Sunni Movements across the UK with speakers such as Shaykh Nabeel Afzal and Shaykh Asrar Rashid.
– Lead to a demonstration at the Libyan Embassy in London attended by all Sunni Movements across the UK and open to everyone.
