Instability and violence have been rife in Libya since Colonel Gaddafi was ousted in 2011 in an uprising backed by Nato. In the latest attack, gunmen stormed a luxury hotel in the Tripoli killing nine people. The BBC’s Ian Pannell travelled to the capital to discover a country now in the hands of militias.
