Salat Seminar
Salat (daily prescribed prayers) is the key to paradise and central pillar of religious
practice in Islam (hadith). Salat enables a person to have a direct and intimate
relationship with God, positively effecting one’s day and life. This seminar will explore the
following topics:
- The significance of salat based on the Qur’an and Hadith
- The spiritual meaning, benefits and rewards of salat
- The fiqh aspect of wudu (ablution) and salat (obligatory & sunnah acts)
- For beginners who want to learn how to pray and make wudu – a beginners session
- will be offered with demonstrations
- Advanced aspects of salat, including travellers, congregational prayer, zikrs, dua
- and more.
Allah swt says: “Indeed, I am Allah . There is no deity except Me,
so worship Me and establish prayer for My remembrance”. Quran 20:14
