UNITED NATIONS — United Nations Deputy Spokesman Eduardo del Buey stated on Thursday that recent decision of Myanmar’s authority about two-children limit on Rohingya Muslims would be discriminatory and a violation of human rights of those.
Buey told reporters that UN Human Rights body warned the authorities of Myanmar previously over the same issue and asked to remove such policies or practices.
UN describes the Rohingya Muslims as one of the most persecuted minorities in the world. As well as being tortured, displaced, faced travel and trade limitations, murders, now Rohingya Muslims face child-limitation policies.
