Twelve members of the same family have been killed in a residential area.
Crowds shouted as a rescue worker pulled a small boy from the rubble after a two-storey house was flattened in one of the air strikes.
He was one of four children killed, along with five women and an 80-year-old woman.
Children have paid the heaviest price in the conflict.
Twenty have died in the attacks so far.
More than 600 people have been wounded, and of those more than a third have been children.
Thirty people have been killed on Sunday alone, the largest loss of life in one day since the air strikes began.
Most of the dead are civilians.
In total, 79 people have been killed in six days of violence – following the deaths of four Palestinians on Monday.
