PROMOTING FOSTER CARE FOR MULTICULTURAL CHILDREN
Mission of Hope will launch it’s new Families4Children initiative
Families4Children (F4C) is an innovative community initiative that seeks to raise awareness of the need to recruit foster parents from MULTICULTURAL and Culturally and Linguistically Diverse Backgrounds (CALD) to provide short and long-term care.
Come and enjoy a Halal BBQ, whilst listening to community workers, foster-parents, community and religious leaders about their experiences and the importance of this greatly needed initiative to promote family wellbeing to foster-children of diverse backgrounds.
We strongly encourage everyone to attend, particularly members from the diverse Muslim community who wish to provide Muslim foster children with culturally and religiously appropriate care.
Expressions of interest of individuals and families willing to become foster carers will be encouraged and taken on the day.
We are targeting the diverse Muslim community for this launch to be able to provide Muslim foster children with the appropriate culturally and religiously appropriate foster parents.
