COURSE SUMMARY
This is a 12-week course, taught once a week, by Ustadha Raidah Shah Idil, based on the Shafi’i Fiqh Manual authored by Imam Nawawi, Al-Maqasid. The course will cover:
Fiqh of Purification, covering laws pertaining to:
Ritual Ablution
Ritual Bath
Types and Removal of Impurities
Purification after Menstruation
Purification after Sexual Intimacy
Fiqh of Prayer, covering laws pertaining to:
Times of Prayer
Method of Prayer for Women
Types and Removal of Impurities
Obligations and Recommendations of Prayer
Prayer of the Traveller
Ustadha Raidah Shah Idil has spent almost two years in Amman, Jordan, where she learned Shafi’i’ fiqh, Arabic, Seerah, Aqeedah, Tasawwuf, Tafsir and Tajweed. She continues to study with her Teachers through Qibla Academy, SeekersGuidance and Al-Ghazzali Centre. She also graduated with a Psychology and English degree from University of New South Wales.
