All Programs require registration and payment prior to the day. Please contact the IWWA office on weekdays between 9 and 2 to book your place.

Learn to Pray (Amira)
Cost $5 per child and aimed at girsls7 – 12 years and boys 7 – 10 years old. A two day program with fun and interactive sessions with individual attention paid to each child’s recitation. A light lunch and handouts will be provided on the day.
Gardening for 3 – 5 yrs (Christie)
Cost $5 per child and program is strictly limited to 15 children.
Children will actively participate in planting seeds and flowers in IWWA’s garden as well as preparing their own pot of seeds/flowers to take home.
Drama Workshop (Christie)
Cost $45 per child and strictly limited to 15 girls aged 7 – 12 years.
Girls will participate in a three day program that will take them through simple drama activities culminating in the performance of short Islamic play for parents on the final day.
Big Book Creation (Christie)
Cost $10 per child and strictly limited to 20 children, girls aged 5 – 12 and boys aged 5 – 10 years. Children will participate in creating book books based on Islamic stories. This day will encourage children to use their creativity. The big books created will be used in future activities by IWWA including the playgroup and pre-school programs. Cost includes lunch on the day
FIGG Girls Picnic (Amira)
Open to FIGG Girls and their friends. An ‘evening snack about’ for our FIGG girls which will include a short lesson and also questions and answer session. All girls are to bring along a snack to share.

Drama for 3 – 5 year olds (Christie)
Cost $5 per child and program is strictly limited to 15 children.
Children will actively participate in drama activities as well as preparing their own masks to take home.
IWWA Long Day Activity (Christie)
Cost is $20 per child per day and program is strictly limited to 20 participants, girls aged 5 – 12 years and boys aged 5 – 10 years. Each day children will be involved in a wide range of activities including art & crafts, games, Islamic studies and quizzes. The cost includes lunch.
Girls Youth Outings (Amira)
Cost to be determined. Aimed at girls aged 10 – 18 years. Girls’ can be dropped off at IWWA and will be taken to the event by bus.
Thinking Mathematically (Christie)
Cost is $30 per child for program and program is strictly limited to 15 participants in each class. Classes will be held between 9 am – 10 am for children in Year 1 and 2 in 2011, 10.30 – 12.00 for children in Year 3 and 4 in 2011, and 12.30 – 2.00 for children in Year 5 and 6 in 2011. The class is taught by a qualified teacher with over 20 years experience and aims to engage students in new and exciting ways of thinking about mathematics.
Art & Craft for 3 – 5 year olds (Christie)
Cost $5 per child and program is strictly limited to 15 children.
Children will undertake a range of art & craft activities which can be taken home at the end of the day.
Balloon Workshop (Christie)
Cost is $10 per child and strictly limited to 30 additional participants, girls aged 5 – 12 years and boys aged 5 – 10 years. Mums and children will participate together in making balloon shapes under the guidance of a professional balloon sculpture and take home their own balloon pets, swords and crowns.
Games & Sports for 3 – 5 year olds (Christie)
Cost $5 per child and program is strictly limited to 15 children.
Children will undertake a range of games & sports including making their own puzzle which can be taken home at the end of the day.
IWWA Picnic at Wiley Park (Amira)
Bring a plate, come along and share lunch at Wiley Park. Children will be entertained with a range of games and mothers will be challenged by a quiz.
Ready for School Program (Christie)
Cost is $10 per child and strictly limited to children enrolled in Kindergarten in 2011. The Program will go through basic skills with children need for their first day.
IWWA Open Day (Christie / Abla)
Come Along to the IWWA Open Day and enrol yourself and your children in next year’s programs. Become a member and go on our emailing list to get all the IWWA news. Grab yourself a bargain at one of the many stalls which will be in attendance including children’s clothes, books and much more.
The School Holiday Programs are a service by IWWA open to all IWWA Members. Membership costs $10 per year and can be paid at the time of registration. A reminder that all program require pre-registration at the IWWA office as numbers are strictly limited.
