Australian Eid-ul-Fitr Gift Drive
Mission of Hope is into its 5th year running where we collect donations and gifts from the community and redeliver these gifts back to charity-based organisations, hospitals, aged-care facilities, detention centres, etc.
We are asking individuals and organisations to participate in this program to help us make the upcoming Eid for Muslim children a pleasant and memorable one. We require from your organisation, a list of children who you wish to nominate as recipients of these gifts. Simply provide us with a list of children and inform us of ONLY their Age and Gender.
Please do NOT wrap your gifts as this will assist us with allocating your gifts appropriately based on the children’s gender and age. Wrapping of gifts will be handled by our team of volunteers.
Note that the Children’s Hospital at Westmead and Randwick have requested that only soft toys be purchased as gifts to minimise any chance of injury to the young children. We recommend that when purchasing gifts for older children, that you place consideration towards gifts which are educational and entertaining in nature.
Zam Zam water is encouraged for the elderly in care.
If you cannot purchase a gift, but wish to send money to delegate the Eid Gift Drive Committee to purchase the gifts on your behalf, kindly send your donations to:
