Al-Ghazzali Centre on behalf of the Australian National Crescent Sighting Coordination Centre (ANCSCC) presents a two-day seminar on Understanding the Fiqh and Science of Crescent Sighting.
Attend this two-day seminar to understand the importance of Crescent Sighting in Islam, and why physical sighting is the only approved method under the Shari’ah and the only real way scientifically, to establish the Islamic lunar months, the first day of Ramadhan, the two ‘Eids and Hajj.
This 2-day seminar will:
– Provide all evidences about why physical sighting of the crescent is required in Islam.
– Provide all evidences why pre-determined calendars and global sighting does not fulfill Islamic requirements.
– Provide evidences of the incorrect announcements made regularly in Australia for Ramadhan and the two ‘Eids.
– Provide practical guidance on how to observe the crescent on a regular basis with accurate information.
– Discuss ways to change the repeated errors made in Australia and return to proper due process of establishing the Islamic Lunar Calendar.
– Provide ample time for questions and answers.
