Hdms - Clean Up Australia Day

HDMS (Hills District Muslim Society | www.HDMS.org.au) will be joining "Clean Up Australia Day". Early registration with HDMS is essential as you will be provided with a 'free' HDMS t-shirt (variety of sizes are available) and also there is a BBQ from 11:00am onwards (Clean Up Australia 'official Fred Caterson Reserve site manager' to be notified [insha'Allah] of the dietary requirements within the next few days)



Venue: Fred Caterson Reserve, Castle Hill 2154

Date: Sunday 1st of March 2009

Meet-up point & time: 8:30am - Car park next to the tennis courts off Caterson Drive (so that attendance can be checked and the t-shirts be distributed)

Duration of clean-up: 9:00am - 11:00am

What to bring: Sunscreen, hat, sunglasses, water bottle, gloves (thick rubber or gardening variety), closed shoes

Early registration with HDMS is essential as there is possibly a Council 'sponsored' BBQ from 12:00pm approx onwards (Clean Up Australia 'official site manager' to be notified [insha'Allah] of the dietary requirements before the event). And for those with commitments on earlier in the day, even if you can make it later on or during the middle of the clean up, it would be much appreciated

Plenty of time to still register for the event... Or simply turn up on the day... Already masha'Allah many people are attending

MashaAllah fantastic turn-out, and everyone worked so efficiently that day finished much earlier than the 12:00pm deadline

Thanks to those that attended and those who had the intention to attend but were not able to
